Dr. J. Scott Mahaney has called Lubbock home his entire life. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at Lubbock Christian University, then went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio. He returned to Lubbock after graduating in 1996 and has been practicing here ever since, building relationships with patients and families across the South Plains for nearly 30 years. From the beginning, his goal was straightforward: own a practice centered on great customer service, quality dental care, and genuine connection with the community he grew up in.

Joining Dr. Mahaney is Dr. Tyler Misko, who brings three years of experience and a shared commitment to conservative, comprehensive care. Together, they serve patients throughout Lubbock and the surrounding West Texas communities, offering a full range of family dental services with a personal touch that's hard to find anywhere else. Dr. Mahaney is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the South Plains District Dental Society, and he volunteers several times a year with Lubbock Impact, providing extraction care at no charge to those in need.
